Saturday October 5, 2019 | 9am – 4pm | Faculty of Education and Social Work

The University of Auckland, Epsom Campus, Gate 3, 74 Epsom Avenue, Epsom, Auckland

We invite you to join us for the biennial postgraduate symposium taking place on Saturday October 5th, 2019. This event celebrates and showcases the latest work of our research masters and doctoral candidates.

This one-day symposium will consist of a series of structured presentations and performances from students at various stages of their research journeys. There will also be a keynote speaker and a panel session. A full programme will be available on this website prior to the event.

This symposium is also free for the public to attend and is a perfect opportunity for those considering embarking on their own masters or doctoral research to network and ask questions of our expert researchers, academic advisors, potential supervisors and current students.

This year’s theme is Changing times, Changing places, Changing lives. This theme draws attention to the potential of research to change places and lives. This theme also speaks to the role of education and social work research in a turbulent era when many familiar landscapes seem to be shifting.
